Living and Teaching

Living in Kinmen is unlike any other placement. Due to its small population, you can expect to be fully integrated into the local community. As a small island, Kinmen offers easy access to beaches and coastal views, while still providing all the necessary modern amenities, including two movie theaters, a shopping mall, Starbucks, and several import stores.

Teaching in Kinmen is unique because most schools are small, and students within the same school often come from the same township or local area. This close-knit environment allows you to build strong connections with students, engage with them beyond the classroom, and become an active part of local life.
